Audrey Schied's love of writing emerged when she was young. Even in second grade her teacher felt she never gave her enough paper to write. She has continued to love reading and writing and is known as being very creative and imaginative. In her 6th grade year, she won a writing contest for a short story she wrote called "Enter Annaopolis." As part of her prize, she had dinner with fellow Montana author Christopher Paolini and rode in the local Christmas parade on the grand marshal float with him as he celebrated the release of his latest book. When she was 13 years old she wrote Thieves of the Flame for the BookLogix Young Writers Contest. Audrey won the contest and had her book published as her prize.
Audrey currently lives with her family in Montana and is a sophmore in high school. She plans on continuing writing and has very big plans for her future.
